Spring Fashion: 15 pieces | 15 outfits

posted in: FASHION | 0

Have you ever looked at your closet filled with clothes and thought “I have nothing to wear.

This happens to me all the time. And it’s horrible! I literally have tons of clothes in my closet but still can’t come up with anything to wear.

So I decided to challenge myself. I gave myself 15 pieces of clothing (1 belt, 3 pairs of shoes, 1 pair of trousers, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, 3 jackets, 1 dress, 1 blouse, 1 t-shirt, 1 tank top & 1 shirt) and challenged myself to come up with 15 outfits. Once I got going I couldn’t stop! I easily could have come up with a couple more but 15 and 15 sounds better than 15 and 17 (haha). The thing is – you HAVE to get creative. I feel like a lot of people play it safe but DON’T! Step outside of the box.. Mix patterns.. wear a belt as a headband (as I do in one of my looks).. reinvent how you wear a dress. Seriously, let your creativity flow. I think you will have a lot of fun,

Also, some of the items I list are what I like to call s t a p l e pieces – and that’s the thing… if you create a wardrobe with staple pieces, it is easier to create outfits.

The Staples:

A white shirt, a good pair of jeans, a leather jacket (mine’s not real but you get it), a jean jacket and a striped t-shirt. These items are SO versatile. I honestly feel like those 5 items are essential in every woman’s wardrobe (along with leggings, sweatpants and sneakers… if we’re being honest). But here we go – let’s get into it!

The 15 Pieces:

Now you know the pieces so let’s get into the outfits!

So that’s all of ’em! Honestly, I could have kept going… you could wear the pink tank over the white shirt with jeans or shorts. You could wear the white shirt over the dress. You could wear the striped shirt under the pink tank or over the gingham blouse. I mean, you guys, this is so easy but you just got to get in the groove and think outside the box a little bit. I hope this post inspired you to be a little more creative with your outfits. Let me know if you try anything similar to any of these!
